VLP Liquid Leather Leather and Vinyl Repair Kit.

Performix Vinyl Leather Repair Kit (VLP) offers a heavy-duty solution designed to repair small tears and holes in leather or most types of vinyl. A repair made with VLP is stronger than the original leather or vinyl piece.

We can easily repair minor leather damage quickly and effectively with VLP Liquid Leather. Liquid Leather is a clear liquid designed for repairing leather on vinyl or synthetic leather surfaces. It can fill cracks, small holes, and cuts.
After drying, it becomes soft and flexible; the feel can be improved with a fine-grain sponge, and if necessary, we could color the product using an airbrush or the original skin color.
Before applying the product, the surface where it is applied must be perfectly clean; this ensures proper adhesion of the product.
We can use a degreaser, as surface grease can prevent the product from adhering properly. It's helpful to have a sponge or fine sandpaper on hand to treat the surface before and after application. The product can be applied with a spatula; choosing the right tool will result in a better finish.

How to use the skin repairer:

The surface must be clean and dry. For best results, avoid direct sunlight, high humidity, or windy conditions.

Repairing small holes and tears in the skin:

Apply a small amount of VLP to damaged areas. Allow a minimum of 2 hours for drying time.

Repairing prolonged tears in the skin

Pull back the area to be repaired, using masking tape every centimeter. Apply a bead of vinyl vinyl (VLP) a few millimeters wide to the exposed areas. Let it dry for 30 minutes. Carefully remove the masking tape. Apply a bead of VLP a few millimeters wide along the entire repair area. Allow at least 4 hours of drying time before use. Test the product on an inconspicuous area. Tip: Do not apply VLP to dyed materials, as it may cause discoloration. Use alcohol to clean vinyl surfaces. Allow to dry overnight whenever possible before use.

Additional ideas for your application

VLP is typically used in vinyl furniture, awnings, tarpaulins, vinyl sheeting, luggage, rainwear, boots, etc. Due to its bonding and tensile strength, VLP also acts as a "backing" to sewn vinyl seams when applied to the back of the seam during production.
